Announced in this week’s edition of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Phantasy Star Zero sees players embarking on a new aventure on the Nintendo DS. There are some notable names are onboard, with Toshiyuki Kubooka crafting character designs and mystery novel writer Teru Arai aiding former series writer Tooru Shiwasu in forging a new story.
The Famitsu report confirms four-player online features over Nintendo’s Wi-Fi connection, and although details remain sketchy at this point in time, it’s likely to be an all-out co-operative affair. Voice Chat is present, and interestingly also allows for sketches to be drawn and sent via touch screen ala PictoChat.
