A new chapter in the Phantasy Star saga
Summary
Phantasy Star Zero (PS0) is an online action RPG for the Nintendo DS. Taking inspiration from both Phantasy Star Online and Universe, PS0 is a new beginning for the franchise. It is estimated for release in Japan for December 25, 2008. It is currently unknown whether it will see a release in other territories.
Features
As well as a 1-4 player online component, PS0 will also feature a single-player story mode. Recent trailers reveal Animation is used throughout the campaign.
Character creation returns to the game, alongside a new Pictochat-like chat system, using the DS touch pad to scribble your message, and like most recent Phantasy Star games, PS0 features a real-time battle system.
Similiar to Phantasy Star Online , PS0's music will change with enemy encounter.
