    The Phoenix Mirror is hidden in a basement underneath the dojo in the Hazuki residence. It has a twin, the Dragon Mirror, which is stolen by from Iwao Hazuki by Lan Di - he is unaware that the Phoenix Mirror is also in Iwao's possession. During Shenmue, Chai attempts to steal the mirror to prove his worth to Lan Di, but is foiled. Ryo Hazuki takes the Phoenix Mirror to Hong Kong during the second game in an attempt to find out more about its power and why the mirrors cost his father's life.
