Unlike their mild-mannered pre-evolved form, Pidgeotto are very protective of their territory and will fiercely peck or claw at any intruder. Their gust technique can blow away almost anyone or anything that gets in their way. 

They can be found in thick forests and large trees. They are very territorial and need large spaces to live. They are most common in Kanto and Johto.

• Ruby/Sapphire: Pidgeotto claims a large area as its own territory. This Pokemon flies around, patrolling its living space. If its territory is violated, it shoes no mercy in thoroughly punishing the foe with its sharp claws.
