In a pinball machine the player is in control of two or more "flippers" (small movable bars) that are used to shoot a metal ball against different physical targets inside the machine.

Stern just recently released their latest pin, this time it's Iron Man! I got to play the machine at a local pinball show and thought it was pretty cool. The music in the game is great the shot layout provides good flow, the rising Iron Monger out of the playfield definitely mixes the game up. However, you can easily see Gary Sterns new cheaper strategy in this game. The game itself is filled with plastic ramps and rails, I understand plastic ramps to a sense but the game would look much better if the ball returns were made of metal. Also, gone is Stern's flipper area covers provided by the side rails, another cost cutting move (more damaged side art now).
