    Overview

    PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe is a new version of this popular PSN series available only for the PSP. Monsters Deluxe includes never before seen monster varieties, levels, towers, and many favorites from the previous games in the series.

    Gameplay

    Monsters Deluxe includes a number of features that are firsts for the series including:

    • Adhoc Mode - Allows two players, each with a PSP and a copy of the game to play any level in the game cooperatively.
    • Infrastructure Mode - Allows online chat and play.
    • Medal Challenges - Completion of these "tricky challenges" will reward the player with items for their TikiMan's Hut.
    • A New Island - An all new location called Gati Gati Island.
    • New Monsters - Scuttlers, are a new fast crab-like monster and a mysterious new type of flying boss.
    • New Monster Abilities - Monsters now come in varieties including fire and flying balloon variants.
    • New Towers - Trap Tower and Gem Tower.
