The other thread was just filled with too many local places that made me jealous I live in California. California, not really known for their pizza. What's your favorite chain pizza place?

I'm thinking about pizza tomorrow, and I'm wondering where I should get it from.

Ready to be mad at me?

California Pizza Kitchen :P

You know, not really a big fan of CPK. Expensive for pseudo-fancy pizza. And pizza should NEVER be fancy.

#4 Posted by Hannibal (877 posts) -

Yeah, definitely expensive.

For regular old delivery pizza Round Table is probably the best quality. Can't beat Dominos on price though

I dunno if you get them in the US, but in the UK we get Domino's. They do delicious pizza and they give you a pot of garlic and herb dip to dip your crusts in, which is delicious.

Do you guys have Papa John's out there... that's usually my call.

Either Domino's or Pizza Hut.

I think as far as chains go...Domino's is the best. Though that's because I think their kid size pizza is actually kind of good, but I live in Chicago so pizza isn't something I pretty much ever get from a chain...

Papa John's is my personal favorite. The "Papa's White Pizza" is the best pizza I've ever had.

Pizza Village definitely has the best pizza I have ever had.  For a chain I would have to pick Pizza Hut.

All the chain pizzas are terrible compared to all the local pizza joints

#36 Posted by John1912 (2078 posts) -

I dont know if the Pizza hut and Dominos in my area just suck but I wont order from them anymore, esp Dominos which sadly was my fav pizza as a kid in the late 80s, 90s.  I get Papajohns.  Pepperoni, ham and bacon, thats some tasy shit.  Otherwise my fav chain pizza place is easily Papa Murphys.

Cicis proves that quantity really can top quality. :D

A local chain is my favorite, but as far as national chains go, definitely Cicis. For "quality," which must always be in quotation marks for these places, my favorite national chain would be either Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

I love Papa John's... they always put lots of cheese for me.

Gotta go with Domino's for the price.  Great cheap pizza.  I'm a fan of a small chain called MacKenzie River Pizza.

Papa John's.  There is no competition.

Their Garlic Breadsticks.  Oh, Jesus.  So good.
