Honestly, I don't get how hamburgers get all the glory on the top of the forum charts, while pizza is down here in the muck. I guess that's the Gerstmann Bump for ya. But alas, to the question at hand. I'm originally from New York, so I gotta go with the thin crust. Nothing better than a pie right out of the oven with a slight crunch to the crust. What about you guys? Thin Crust or Deep Dish? New York style or Chicago?

So, it essentially is the arguement of New York or Chicago style?

The Food Network agrees: New York dominates your mouth.

I think it depends on the mood. If I just want to really taste the toppings, thin crust. If I'm hungry and just want something really greasy tasting, then thick crust is the way to go.

New York wins damn-near every category. In fact, it may have won all of them.

The only place with really good thin crust is Donatos. If it's any other place, I gotta go with deep dish.

Isn't there some medium between thin crust and deep dish. I vote whatever the hell Pizza Hut serves you when you say "I want a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza delivery."

I personally love thin crust pizza...deep dish isn't bad (I should know since I live in Chi), but I just really love thin, crispy crusts.

Thin crust, I really dont like deep dish pizzas, too much bread, detracts from the other flavors.  Hate the really greasy ones as well, like pizza hut.

Very tricky question, each has its own merits. I think I'm gonna have to settle on thin crust.

I say neither! I prefer soft crust --- Hard enough so that there's something to grab onto (yeah i know haha -.-...) but soft enough that it doesn't feel like breadsticks when I eat them.
