I think I'm starting to get to that point where every game I play (if it has trophies) I'm going to go for the full 100%. As long as it doesn't involve buying DLC in order to get a trophy or two(such a stupid idea)

I could care a less about any trophies or achievements of any kind, unless its literally something that actually sounds cool to do, or I can easily pull off, otherwise I never play just to try to get a trophy/achievement.

Yeah, I guess. I probably won't go for (or even get) any platinums and I don't have too many games with trophies, but I'm Level 5 and a half or so. Good enough.

No, the fact that when I finally do get a ps3, I wont get trophies for Metal Gear and... whatever other good sony exclusive games were out there. I am, however, hooked on phonics.

Yeah same here, I always try and go for the platinum.

I go for any ones that seem doable with a reasonable amount of time.  I'll go for a few golds, but most of the platinums I've seen are either impossible or take way too much time (of course, based on hardest gold).  Golds are a good challenge and I get some sense of accomplishment from silvers and golds.

Welcome to the achievement/trophy addiction.  I find myself doing everything short of starting the game over just to get every audiotape/dog tag/flag in the game.  I know way ahead of time that that I am simply not going to get every achievement for every game.

I think I'm in the middle. I've heard that you're not an "Achievement whore" unless you'll play a game just for its points (i.e. you'll play a game you otherwise wouldn't have ever played) (i.e. Jeff). I won't ever do that, but I do try, with reckless abandon, to get all the Trophies in all the games I have. I won't spend money on things I wouldn't otherwise spend it on like expansions or crappy downloadable games (stop buying Novastrike you dirty fucking whores!) but I'll work my ass off in a game I already like. And with that, I have to go get the last two Resistance 2 single player Trophies.

I love trophies, so I'm hooked on them, but I'm not as crazy as some of you people.  I'm level 5, but I can't imagine the work that went into getting to level 9.  Do you have every game with trophies, or how did you get so far up there?  I try to get as many trophies as I can, but I have to really...really love a game to go for 100%.  The only game I've done it on so far is Uncharted.

Yep. I've been playing a lot of Dead Space just to get 100%.

Haven't gotten any new games that have trophies yet.

Achievements were my first and only love.

Depends on the game... If I like the game, I'll go for the Platinum (Uncharted and Burnout Paradise; working on Fallout 3). Resistance 2, however... I refuse to work on that one. =P

I haven't even really started to 100% on trophies for certain games depending on if they are too hard to get.

I like the points system better. But to each their own.

I'll go for platinum for the games that I really like. With others I'm okay on getting just what comes on a first playthrough.

Trophies so far are an afterthought on ps3 games achievements being an all around easier concept to use, understand and get in games Im an achievement whore but i've never really been into geting trophies.

Yeah, I'm VERY addicted right now. When I start a game, I don't quit until I get the platinum. Working on Dead Space right now. 

trophies came too late.  i mean, i'd rather they were there than not.  but i've gotten too far with 360 achievements.  i'm not even an achievement-guy but i've been getting them accidentally for so long that now i've started to take interested.  now it usually is the reason why i buy multiplatform games on xbox 360
