So I loved the sequel but I'm torn between getting the original or Chaos Theory HD

    1) Every gameplay vid I've seen shows you dual wielding pistols. Yet in the trailer there was a clip of Nomad only using a single pistol. Is this still possible and if so, how?

    2) Can you go prone? I've asked thiston other forums buy never got a definite answer. Some other forums say you can't, yet numerous reviews state that you can go prone. Can anyone finally answer this? Not a deal breaker or anything, but laying a prone a mile away from a enemy camp with sniper rifle is just part of the badass fantasy

    3) Any stealth tips? I love stealth and I love open-ended multi-tactic games like Crysis so the level of stealth is important. How or can you do silent kills? How is the AI in responding to stealth tactics? Can you tag enemies like in Crysis 2?

    4) After you grab any enemy, can you just drop them or do you have to throw? Because I read that you can choke enemies unconscious, so this would be a good stealth tactic

    5) How varied are the environments? I know it's a jungle island, but do enemy bases become more complex than villages or small camps?

Yeah you can use a single pistol, and go prone. Can't help you with the other questions, didn't really play that much.

    1. You can wield just a single pistol, as long as you don't grab another. As far as I know, once you activate dual-wielding you're stuck that way.
    2. Yep, you can go prone.
    3. AI is definitely not Crytek's forte. As a result, it's quite easy to remain unseen, as long as you stick to tall grass and use the cloaking mechanism wisely (it's drains pretty quickly, quicker than in Crysis 2). It's been a while since I played the game, but I don't remember having the ability to tag enemies like you can in the sequel.
    4. If you can choke enemies, than it's not something I knew about. If you grab someone, throwing them is the only available option.
    5. I think I'm about half-way into the game, and so far there has only been jungles and warehouses, though I believe there is a mission that takes place on an alien spaceship.

It's also worth noting that the "Limited Edition" of Crysis 3 will come with a voucher for the original Crysis. So if you were planning on getting that, I'd hold out.

Actually, you can DEFINITELY tag enemies with the binoculars in Crysis 1.

It's better than Crysis 2... that's all you need to know. Go buy it.
