LOL i'm neutral lol but ive pretty much grown up playin shooters on the PS controller? But I think it depends on how well the Dev utilizes the controller with they're game concept.

i actually like cod4 much better on ps3, the smaller design and the fact the the shoulder buttons (l1 and r1) are used for the aim and fire make it much faster and easier to use.

I prefer the 360 for shooters because of the concave triggers and better analog sticks.

Actually, I thought that was one of the worst things about control setups on the PS3. That and Bad Company both have this. It just feels unnatural and a bit of a cop-out. Ugh."

I prefer PS3 for everything just because I like the controller a hell of a lot better.

360 hands down. i have both xbox 10 times better

Neither. Keyboard and mouse.

I find the 360 controller more well-suited for shooters than the Dualshock. 
 
Of course a mouse and keyboard are still best.

you know i used to say 360 because of the controler, but I played both borderlands and modern warfare 2 on ps3 and it was fine, so i'm going to have to change my usual answer to "whatever"

360.  Fix the D-pad and make the battery less intrusive, and it's the perfect controller.

Triggers on the 360 are a lot better for shooting games.  More satisfying and easier to hit.  The offset joysticks also seems more comfortable to me.

PS3 controller with 'real triggers' attachments on the L2 and R2 is good for PS3 shooters. I still prefer Xbox 360's triggers because they provide more resistance. The analog stick placement, however, I dislike. I want a better D-pad for 360 as well.
