I have recently upgraded from a fat 32" SD TV to a 46" LED HD TV and am looking at what PS3 games people would recommend renting for the weekend that will showcase my new purchase to my friends. 
 
I bought Black Ops when I picked the TV up and even though it is not a franchise known for its graphics the difference from my old TV is blowing me away, so the question to you fine folk is.... 
 
What PS3 games do people think look the prettiest?

Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet  for me. 
 
Killzone in particularly has some of the best smoke effects I have ever seen.

Uncharted 2 is a must. God of War 3 is crazy in HD too. Those two i think are the best looking games on console right now.

Uncharted 2 for sure.  Also, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time looks pretty great.

Both of the Uncharted games look stunning in HD

Both Uncharteds, Gran turismo 5 (Or prologue), and God of War 3 really are my favorites, look awesome on a large telly. :D

Killzone 2 and/or anything that runs in 1080p.

Uncharted 2, and God of War 3. The Saboteur isn't too shabby either.

Metal Gear Solid IV looks fething awesome.
 
Dead Space and Assassin's creed ain't too bad either.

I would say that PS3 wipeout game with the fury expansion pack would look amazing.  Also should you care for it, Heavy Rain is also pretty good at setting a dramatic atmosphere with it's looks and in particular, the musical score.  Then of course, GT5 when it feels like coming out.

Ooh, also Burnout Paradise.

God of War 3 is easily one of the best looking games out there, so I'd say that.

Geometry wars 2 is still probably the best looking HD game of all time. You should play that.

I also think Flower looks really nice on a big screen - it's super relaxing. You can download it on PSN.

Heavy Rain?

Super Street Fight IV actually looks really nice and crisp when playing on a 1080p screen.
 
If you like colours in your HD, SSFIV is the way to go.

3. Killzone 2 (Personal favorite PS3 title, still looks great) 
4. Ratchet and Clank:ACIT (Highly underrated title, looks fantastic and is in my opinion the Mario of Playstation)

I always though Folklore looked really good. At least some of the cutscenes

I know you asked for video game suggestions but if you really want to impress your friends with your new LED tv, buy or rent Planet Earth on Blu Ray. That shit will blow your friends away more than ANY hd video game out now.
