can't find any info on a Sony press conference, is there one?

Are there press conferences, like in E3? I don't think so. Isn't it just keynotes and talks and stuff?

GDC isn't a press conference type of event. It's where game developers go to discuss how to be better at making games. It's also where out of work developers can meet a whole bunch of developers and discuss potential jobs. And where independent developers can pitch their ideas to publishers to fund their games. The press really doesn't have a place there because it's the GAME DEVELOPERS conference for GAME DEVELOPERS. GDC is only for the people who know/want to know how the sausage is made.

MS had a press conference earlier this week where they showed off Steel Battalion and some other stuff.

Sony's is tomorrow, word is they'll be announcing some Vita stuff.
