I AM ANGRY with freezes

#1 Posted by AnnouncerGXZ (702 posts) -

This same week my ps3 froze for 6 times!

reckonig demo = 1 time

city imposters = 4 time

resistance multiplayer demo = 1 time

all adds up to 6 time total in just one week!

wtf? this is a risk for ps3 to be currupted. How can we do something about it? scream at the dev ear? DONT FUCK UP MY PS3???? but seriously dont you all think this is getting annoyingly riddiculous? shouldnt they not release a broken game that risk for our hardware to be broke?

Are you sure it isn't just your ps3?

Or this City Impostors game?

NO it is not my ps3. everybody say they have the same problem when they play these games.

Since this thread just happened does anyone know what my issue is? My ps3's fans go fucking crazy after I turn the system on for like 3 minutes. It gets so loud that I cant even play a game or watch a blu ray on it without turning the volume up super loud. Anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Really dont want to buy a new one and ive had this one since launch and it has backward compatibility so I dont want to replace it.

Not everyone. I haven't had any issues with my PS3.

Actually, Gotham city imposters froze my console too... *shrug* It IS a beta after all...

@laserbolts: Make sure its in an open space where it can ventilate the heat properly and try and clean it out with a low powered vacuum. If you still have problems you may have to open it up to clean it out and replace the thermal paste.

You said everyone is having problems with those demos. I am a part of everyone. I am not having those problems. So obviously, not everyone is having issues.

It's winter folks. Make sure you clear dust off your systems and use compressed air on the vent holes. Keep your systems away from heaters and vents and make sure they are getting proper air circulation.

Its dusty, get rid of the dust with compresses air

#14 Posted by DarthOrange (3851 posts) -

or maybe just clean the dust from your PS3. That usually fixes a loud fan on both PS3 and 360.

Its software... shit happens. In almost all cases things like this can't hurt your hardware. And everything you listed playing isn't final code for any of the games.

In my problem it is not my ps3. it is the games i listed that has problem. my gaming room temperture is always nice and cool thanks to ac.

@kashif1: @kashif1: I will give that a shot its usually in a shelf so it really isnt getting much air. Thanks for the tips dudes.

@laserbolts: I did not read your post atleast not all of it. now i finally did.

Your 60gb ps3 is normal for it to be loud. Everybodys fat ps3 is the same. Turns loud. Even my old fat 40gb is thats why I got a slim now. Fat ps3 is flawed. Do not buy in excuse of your own fault that you put in low venturelation area. I mean it is half true and half false. Saying it is 100% owners fault is not true.

Fat ps3 is known for loud noise and ylod. No matter where you put your ps3, outside or inside a cooler it will still have ylod due to the stuff inside melts easily. I put my ps2 in a bottom shelf where the ass toward 2 inches away from the wall for over 9 years and it is still fine in fact im still playing my ps2 sometimes. When I got my fat ps3 i stick it in the bottom shelf too and very small space that everytime i play for 40min I wave my hands on the area and it was smoking warm!!!!!!! so yes putting the ps3 in low venturelation is the reason..... TOO! but it is not entirely. the saying that it is entirely cause of that is just to save face from faults.

the percent of fault blame goes like this.... 19% owners fault for putting it in low venturelation and 81% of hardware fault.

I have a slim and I am very careful. I put it face the ass to the side to let it breath fresh air instead of toward the wall.

Why do you ask your problem here? it is like hijacking my topic but ok.
