Hi thanks for opening this thread, I would like you to answer some questions. Is the ps3 currently regionless? More specifically — Will a ps3 purchased in Netherlands work online in Russia? Are the games discs regionless? Thanks, sorry for the trivial queries.

All PS3 games are not region locked, meaning that you can buy games from any region and they will work without issue. Blu-ray movies are region locked though.

A little googling and I can now tell you that the PS3 is region locked but the games are not,so you can't get dlc in Russia if you bought the game in Netherlands.

It's really the only flaw in the PS3, I can't get my Russian DLC over here in the Netherlands.
