Nope, I love my monolith.

The PlayStation 3 (often abbreviated PS3) is the third home video game console created and released by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
If the whole PS3 Slim deal is real, and you already own a PS3, would you replace it with a slim?
Definitely not. Why would I spend more money on buying a version of console that is no different than the one I already have, except a bit smaller, which works perfectly fine?
i would like to but it depends on how much it costs, how much i could trade my current PS3 in for, and if the slim had PS2 bc.
Not a chance, I only got mine a month and a half ago anyway, but I don't care to much about size - performance and capabilities are much more important
" 4% votes yes, but none of them told us why, quite sad. It´s not its something to be ashamed of. "unless it was someone without a ps3 and thought it was "would you buy a slim ps3" or something like that and selected "yes"
if I had a few hundred bucks lying around then why not? But of course I wouldn't thats just not smart. They are not adding anything to the PS3 with this slim down and while I think it is good for business, Sony has been acting really stupid with the PS division. Keeping prices high when at 300 bucks they could sell more systems and still make a profit. That would drive Xbox and Wii prices down I believe, because how can you put an elite 360 at 400 when you have a PS3 blu ray player at $100 less? But no, they want to save face and keep it high. Same with the PSP. This new PSP Go will cost less to make but they will charge more for it? Are they retarded? 250? Not today baby. Not when I could get a PS3 for that much!
Nope, although I'm not in a position to replace a console even if I wanted to, I still wouldn't even if I had the cash.
Besides, I'd need to know features first, it might lack the built Wi-Fi or the support for normal laptop HDDs. Plus, every time I look at mine I think of 2001, and that makes me happy.
No. Why would I replace existing hardware with the same hardware? It's not like going from a DS to DS Lite, since you are holding onto the actual hardware, and the screen was brighter. Unless there's something more than aesthetics, I can't see a reason to repurchase something that works just fine for me.
Maybe, I'm one of those people who want the newest sexiest thing, so theres a good chance.
**But I want a white asian Ps3 before I get the slim ps3**
Nope. Not unless it adds some crazy cool stuff (the PS2 slim was the exact thing but just smaller, if it's like that, NO), and it's really cheap. >$200 I'm talking.
" **But I want a white asian Ps3 before I get the slim ps3** "Yeah thats what i got, i imported mine from Hong Kong.
" @Bucketdeth said:Dude! How, Where, When, Price!" **But I want a white asian Ps3 before I get the slim ps3** "Yeah thats what i got, i imported mine from Hong Kong. "
: )
" Maybe, I'm one of those people who want the newest sexiest thing, so theres a good chance. **But I want a white asian Ps3 before I get the slim ps3** "I want a white one also, the musical genius that is Soulja Boy has one, which makes it even cooler.
Yea, probably, it's not like we know the feature set so it's hard to say. If it retains all of the media capability then most probably.
