right is like hypercam compatible with linux on the ps3 and can you use it to record in game footage? or will i have to shell out like £60 on one of those dazzle things? somthing i dont want to do, any suggestions?

Even if you could run a screen recorder on linux how do you expect to play a game with linux still open?

How are you gonna play a game while running Linux? Also why do you need to record games?

honestly i don't know i don't have a clue what the crack is with all the linux bollocks, i dont have it, and i want to record the games for a seperate website where currently my mate is using his digital camera with poor results and im looking for an alternative

I think there is a way to connect your system to a computer and use your computers video capture card, but I'm not sure how it's done.

Connect your Ps3 (video-out) to your pc graphics card (video in) and record on screen with fraps.

i've hear a load of speculation but no hard plans... it would be really good if the did but i mean how far off is that...

It's not really a big major feature though. It would be cool, but isn't necessary.

Just look on youtube. Tons of people use record gameplay . There has to be atleast 1 guide.
