    right is like hypercam compatible with linux on the ps3 and can you use it to record in game footage? or will i have to shell out like £60 on one of those dazzle things? somthing i dont want to do, any suggestions?

    Even if you could run a screen recorder on linux how do you expect to play a game with linux still open?

    honestly i don't know i don't have a clue what the crack is with all the linux bollocks, i dont have it, and i want to record the games for a seperate website where currently my mate is using his digital camera with poor results and im looking for an alternative

    I think there is a way to connect your system to a computer and use your computers video capture card, but I'm not sure how it's done.

    yeah unfortunatley i knew all about that, there are many tutorials on youtube etc. i was looking for a free sollution but feared there wasn't one, thanks anyway lads.

    Just look on youtube. Tons of people use record gameplay . There has to be atleast 1 guide.
