how come the ntsc regions get so much more than the pal ones? not only in downloadable content but in price aswell, this is stemming after reading up on the soon to be released PAL 80Gb basically it is a 40gb pal ps3 with a larger hard drive where as the ntsc version has 4 usb ports as opposed to 2, flash card reader and ps2 compatibility so why are sony giving japan and america gold and europe tin foil????

It does seem that Sony is giving the leftovers to Europe. The PAL 60GB has the same PS2 compatibility as the NTSC 80GB models. And let's not mention the delays in release of systems and games. Nintendo is guilty of this as well. As for the reason, I have no idea.

I feel bad for Europe, is it that hard to launch everything WW.

Hopefully it changes. Sony said they are going to improve "worldwide" since 360 is dominating NA.
