... To leave a disc in my PS3, I usually just leave COD4 in my PS3 because I don't really play anything else, is that bad for my PS3?

As far as I know, there's no problem.  I think leaving discs in consoles is only ever an issue if you're moving them around.  If you don't move your PS3 around, it couldn't be an issue.

yea, nothing wrong with leaving a disc in the PS3. If you were to leave a disc in the PS3 then bash it with a baseball bat, pour gasoline over it and throw a lit cigarette on it, then laugh maniacally then that would be bad. Actually that would be weird.

It should be fine, but get out of that habit. If your PS3 goes on the fritz, the last thing you want is a game disc in the tray.

I always leave games in my consoles.  In fact, I've never seen or heard of anyone who takes them out after each play session.

It's good practice to take it out after you're done, because ReTarDedFisHy had such a bad habit with leaving things in, his PS2's disc reader just died on him, probably got torn up. Thing is, just don't move your PS3 and it's totally fine.

It's not bad, but it's always safer to put the game back in the case.

I leave mine in my PS3 sometimes. Nothing bad should occur, seeing as my games are fine.

I always take the disc out before turning off the PS3. I don't think there's any harm in leaving the game in, but it's just a habit I have.

i always take mine out, not because theres anything wrong with doing it but i got into the habbit when i had the original playstation and the discs would attract dust which could then fry your console, also it keeps things neat and tidy if you dont have game boxes lying around:P:P:P

as long as you aren't moving the console when the disc is in it, and especially running, you'll be fine.

I wouldn't see it being a problem. I for some reason feel it's second nature to take the game out when I'm done with it :P

No, the only problem is if you move the console, espically if the console is running but other than that it's fine. Actually have a friend who moved his 360 while it was playing broke it while destroying his Gears of War disc in the process.

No it doesn't matter, no worries. You can even move the console a bit while the disc is running, nothing happens (this isn't the 360).
