I have tried a lot of times, trying to make another Online ID one the same console of my brothers, but it keeps giving me sign out errors. Even when there is nothing to sign out of because I haven't even made an account. So, Is it possible to have multiple Online IDs on one PS3?

Yes it is, you have to make a new user

If you didn't know you can make multinational ones too.  Allows you to access other region stores.  e.g. if your US then you can set up a JPN and UK one etc etc

You can make a million bazillion trillion IDs if you want!
