Alright, so I'm going to be getting a PS3 tomorrow, and it comes with Socom Confrontation w/ a mic and Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.  I'll also be picking up LittleBigPlanet and MGS4.  Aside from these, what are some games that I absolutely need to buy?  I'm open to any game (except for multiplatforms), and it's alright if they're on the PSN.  Also, what accessories or Blu-Rays do you recommend?  I've already picked up Planet Earth, and am looking for movies that offer a big jump up from DVD's.

Killzone 2, Valkyria Chronicles and Infamous (when it is released) are the three titles that come to mind.  On PSN perhaps Noby Noby Boy and Burn Zombie Burn.

Blu-Rays anytthing visually intensive. I have all the harry potter movies (got em really cheap), pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and some other titles i got cheap.

Uncharted and Resistance 2.  Also Wipeout HD is a blast.

Everyone is all down on Resistance 2.  The story has its problems, but it's still far and away the best co-op game on the system.

Another vote Demon's Souls. Also, if you like dual joystick shooters, Super Stardust HD is pretty fun.

I really like Resistance 2 and Valkyria Chronicles. 

Also, does anyone know why Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank are still so expensive?

PSN: flower is my game of the year so far. Siren Blood Curse is the "scariest" game available on the three main consoles at the moment. Noby Noby Boy is very cheap and great for a laugh for an hour or so. Zen Pinball, release just this week, is one of the best pinball games I've played. Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty will extend the Tools Of Destruction experience for you (hey, 4 extra hours of Ratchet & Clank? Can't be bad). Linger In Shadows is something you should get if you're interested in the weird quirky projects Sony fund. The Last Guy is also a quirky title to check out. I thought Burn, Zombie, Burn! was really good fun, interesting mechanics. Super Stardust HD is the Playstation's equivalent to GW. Wipeout HD is one of the best looking/best racing games available.

Retail: The two Resistance games are certainly worth getting if you're into FPS', especially now you can get them cheap. Motorstorm: Pacific Rift is a really good racing title, with busy online and a lengthy/challenging single player. Killzone 2 is another must have if you like shooters. LittleBigPlanet is another quirky Sony game that you have to check out. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is probably one of the best games on the system.

Blu-Ray Movies: Any Pixar, CGI based movies will blow you away in HD. Truly beautiful.

It's short, but stil very, very good. Plus if you look around, it's pretty cheap now.

If you don't have Burnout Paradise yet, then add that.  I only mention it because the PS3 version is the preferred edition of the game.  Apart from what everyone else has mentioned perhaps Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice if you are into Japanese turn-based strategy RPGs.

Go pick up Uncharte: Drake's Fortune. The sequel is going to come out in fall so you better prep up. And pick up Wall E on Blu-ray! I've already wached it 3 times already! In 2 days!

Uncharted, then save your money for Uncharted 2, God of War 3, Ratchet and Clank a Crack in time, and Last Guardian.

Uncharted and Motor Storm: Pacific Rift are both awesome exclusives, alot of people also like Infamous which I haven't played yet.
Not a huge fan of KZ2 myself but eh get it if you're lacking in shooters to play.

Valkyria Chronicles is my favorite PS3 game, followed very closedly by Eye of Judgment.  Really great game EoJ, but totally overlooked.  Hot Shots Golf is another in my top 5 PS3 titles.

killzone2, its the best multiplayer game out right now, ive played 76 hours. Also get the dark knight, infamous, and uncharted.
