Ok, so my uncle always buys me and my brother a game for Christmas, and he called me up asking what we wanted. I had a complete mind blank and didn't know what to answer. So basically I wanted to know what was a good PS3 game that I should ask for? I already have LBP, Uncharted 2, MW2 (On PC), Resistance 2, InFamous, and GTA IV. I don't want either Killzone or MGS4. Preferably not and FPS (I use my comp for those) and not one of the Final Fantsy esque kind. Any suggestions?

The new Ratchet & Clank would be a pretty awesome bet.

PS3 exclusive or can it be multiplatform?
I would say Assassins Creed 2.  
Or maybe God of War Collection.
I would normally recommend Valkyria Chronicles but it might not be for you if you dislike JRPG's/SRPG's. 
 
Just wondering how come you don't want MGS4 or Killzone 2?

If you are into 3rd person, over the shoulder survival horror/shooters, then Dead Space or Resident Evil 5. Or you could ask for a points card and get a downloadable game, like Fat Princess, Trine, Braid. If you are into sports, NHL 10 is awesome. All depends on what you like.

Getting the Saboteur and Assasins Creed 2 myself. Ratchet and Clank is also an excellent pick if you are looking for just released games.
 
Valkyria chronicles is excellent if you are into japanese art-style and story.

Batman Arkham Asylum, or God of War Collection if you are in US. It might be a bit much to ask your uncle to import it :P
 
Assassin's Creed 2 is another good bet, although you might want to play through the original first.

Yeah Assassins creed is really my only interest, although I'll probably rent it.
I'd prefer a newer game, although the market looks pretty bare right now...

I got Batman a few days ago and have spent so much time playing it in two days. I'm probably nearing the end now. Even with the buzz around it it still surprised me. I'm not even keen on Batman and this is easily one of the best games i've played this year.
