Got a Walking Dead vibe from it, and that text sure does look like the one used for the TV show.

On the website theres a date, "12.07.11" Odds are its probably a trailer for a cockroach scuttling across a debris filled room very very fast.

That said I hope its a complete new IP (could this potentially rule out that sony smash fighter rumour as I dont see a relation of end of days to sony characters battling it out

I still want a realistic-ish Zombie game that is actually about survival and has slow moving Zombies.

Hope it's not another zombie game, could be a new Syphon Filter which dealt with end of the world viruses and the CDC.

Edit: After watching the video of the ants, I'm assuming the parasites that eat ant brains evolve into human brain-eating parasites.

Hmmm, this is just speculation, but Keighley retweeted this from Cliffy B " If I showed up onstage at Spike what do you think I'd announce? vgas" a couple hours before revealing the trailer. Don't know if it's related, but it sounds like Cliffy is planning something unexpected.

Looks like it will be either some kind of post-apocalyptic game or more in style of I Am Alive (maybe with zombies or infected)

#1: The game is supposedly first-party (SCEA), which is proven by the existence of the ant trailer (from their website) on their database There's also tons more theory on where this is coming from on a NEOGAF thread- which is crazy.

Geoff Keighley is presenting some pretty insane hyperbole on this. Really hope it's that awesome.

This idea has terrified me since I first learned about them. I wouldn't be surprised if someone else felt the same and thought it would make a good horror game. Its an interesting idea to take something that really exists (as opposed to a made up zombie virus) and turn it into something scary.

the wont believe thing will probably be regarding ingame technology. Regenerating cell AI and that stuff they touted as major features in the game.

After watching that Redwood Falls gameplay, I'm excited. That actually looked pretty good.

That Redwood falls looks like a cross between the Thing, and uh...Dreamcatcher.

Well if it's a PS3 exclusive hopefully it will be good. Sony usually gets behind it's exclusives.
