I just a got a new PS3 and I want to buy a game for my 6 year old sister. You guys know any good ones that she would be able to play preferably without being forced to ask me for help?

PS3 Games for a 6 year old?
LittleBigPlanet and Modnation Racers for sure. There are quite a few kid-friendly games on PSN too - Flow, Flower, Topatoi, Trash Panic, the Pixeljunk series, etc.
" grand theft auto liberty city stories... definitely ok but seriously, littlebigplanet, the second one is coming soon, modnation, and as for psn games, try flower, or trash panic, that game kicks my ass though, but then again, I suck at playing games in genereal "Well you completed RDR in about 7 hours. That must of certainly required alot of skill...

There's a demo available of that one, right? I'll see if she likes it! :)
LittleBigPlanet, Modnation Racers. You should also check the PSN store. There are amazing games on there; and you can find more kid-friendly games than on discs. You can downlaod a bunch of demos to see if she likes the games. If she can handle it, buy her Super Stardust HD or Joe Danger.

She likely won't understand it and will find no enjoyment in it other than possibly from watching you play it. And a fore-warning, unless you solve rubix-cubes on your lunch breaks, you're not gonna enjoy it either.
LittleBigPlanet is the best bet. It can be easy enough that she would pick up on it, while also enjoying it and learning some puzzle-solving techniques in the process.
" @Abyssfull said:..what? You skipped them because you've already seen them? How? I figured that was your first completion.Well you completed RDR in about 7 hours. "mmm mmm, nope, I should have made that more clear, but I figured that there would be at least one person who would bother to look at my trophies and realize that i`ve played the game on and off seeing as I beat the game litterally two months after getting the game
I think Demon's Souls would be a suitable game for your little sister. Everyone knows six-year-old girls are afraid of monsters and skeletons and demons, and the best way to conquer one's fears is to confront them.
Confront them, murder them with cold, hard steel weapons, and harvest their souls.

Critter Crunch
Flower
Little Big Planet
Monsters vs Aliens
Hail to the Chimp
FaceBreaker
Gforce
Rachet and Clank: A Crack in Time
Katamari Forever
Those are the Ones my little nephews enjoy the most that would seem suitable fro a 6 year old girl.
There's also Fat Princess and Skate 2, but they are boys after all :P
Jesus, half of you are just trolling.
LittleBigPlanet is the obvious choice and some PSN titles like Flow, Flower, Shatter, Joe Danger and Magic Orbz should also be good.
A darkhorse is the PS3 Ratchet & Clank series, which is toned down somewhat from the T-rated series on the PS2.
Of course, the games based on G-rated movies should be good but not every game is a winner like Toy Story 3.

To kids that young massing all the buttons at the title screen of a game is as much of a game as actually play the game.
It really does not matter your kid is only 6 they are not going to actually play the game you get them.

You should also add to that Mini Ninjas... can't remember another cutesy game on the ps3.
i totally agree with icemael. but if you love that sister great choices would be: lego games (any im pretty sure all of them have co-op too), 3d dot heros, toy story 3, and if i where you i'd pick Modnation racers. i played mario kart that little and loved it and modnation is about the same thing so its a go!

No 6 year old should have ps3 or 360. They should have a GBA or DS until they are older.
Babysitting troubles ? :p"preferably without being forced to ask me for help? "
People have already mentioned Modnation Racers and LBP (all good options). You could also try Shatter, Tetris, Trash Panic and Critter Crunch. Don't forget to look through the old PSN/PS1 catalog - they have a lot of old classics like Lemmings and Sonic that are simple and still fun to play. I've a feeling Flower might be too abstract for a kid to relate to and she might find it boring. But it's something YOU should try.
Wii is probably the better console for a kid, mainly because of the WiiWare library. They have a lot of 2D platformers and puzzlers that are incredibly easy to pick up and play.
And there is always God of War - the perfect way to raise a modern Spartan.

Forget Lego games, get her a proper lego building set, it's the only way. Also, I concur with the suggestions of Demon's Souls, add Dead Space to the list.
Critter Crunch." I just a got a new PS3 and I want to buy a game for my 6 year old sister. You guys know any good ones that she would be able to play preferably without being forced to ask me for help? "
If she plays Demon's Souls, refer her to the wiki or get her the strategy guide.

3D Dot Game Heroes? Are you insane? That game is hard!
Also, she wouldn't understand most of what makes that game awesome.
Rhythm games, if you want to get the controllers as well, seem to be liked by younger people.
Also, maybe Super Street Fighter IV? I remember playing Street Fighter 2 with my cousins when i was about 4 or 5. It was awesome, even if all i did was mash buttons. But that's slightly different.
