Got Infamous, Wipeout HD, Dead Nation & Super Stardust HD for free...can't complain.

So are you saying it would have been better if they offered no free movie rentals and only 2 games? O wait yes that makes sence! 
 
Seriously be happy with what you get Sony didn't have to give you anything for free. 

Ghostbusters is an awesome movie. Doesn't matter when it came out.

Plus Ghostbusters is amazing.

You gotta defend people who give your information away to anyone with half a brain willing to steal it. The free stuff is due to lack of service of course. Im sure most people think its make you forget or forgive them for what happened.

They could still play fantastic single player games like LA Noire and Portal 2, they could still play local multiplayer and co-op on games like Mortal Kombat and Dirt 3, and they could even still watch Netflix. One feature, one that costs no money, was attacked by an outside party that Sony could not have stopped because they most likely didn't know until it was too late.

So what does Sony do? They give you four free games. Three movies. 60 days of PlayStation Plus. One free year of identity theft protection. Yet some people still complain. It's ridiculous. Yes a feature was gone, but Sony had no choice in removing the feature, it was forcefully taken, yet they still are offering tons of gifts to say "sorry."

i haven't seen final fantasy spirits within in some time but didn't care enough to buy a dvd or even download it, so i'll watch that 
 
also in the UK we got house of the dead 2 and resident evil degeneration 
 
so pick your battles, ghostbusters is always good, and was before my time too, and bad boys...well its alright but i agree random choice 
 
is there a time limit? for some reason i have just the weekend in my head or is it longer and will they be adding more over the month?

This is a bit of an aside but the PS3 has the absolute slowest download speeds I've ever seen on anything.  I feel like I have 56k again.

@Zor: True, but all you would have had to do is cancel your card and get a new one the day the information came out, and you would be safe.

@Omega: I'm not defending Sony during the PSN fiasco. Personal information being compromised is unacceptable, and waiting as long as they did is horrible. I'm saying that people need to stop complaining about the free stuff Sony is throwing your way. Free is free, and if you don't want it, don't take it.

In Canada the selection is Hitch, Click, and Underworld:Evolution. I would be happy with Ghostbusters...

Just because a movie is before your time doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. Hell, there are tons of old movies that I love. Ghostbusters is not shit. Those other two movies are, but not Ghostbusters.

Ghosbusters "before my time" says the guy with a avatar of Superman II which came out 3 years earlier. Sure thing crazy guy.

o Charlies's Angels 
o Desperado

Honestly, I think the UK selection of the Final Fantasy Movie (i.e. what almost killed Square), the Resident Evil anime and "The Worst Video Game Movie ever as stated by Giant Bomb's Ryan Davis" House of the Dead II speaks volumes about how little Sony thinks of us. 

It's all free, so I shouldn't complain, but the disparity in movie quality between the freebies in our region and those in others is remarkable. Maybe I'm just imagining it and this was the best they could do with our licensing laws. But given the overall quality of the UK PSN store, I'm not so sure.

Well... Ghostbusters is the greatest movie of all time... so that says something.

Bad boys and Ghostbusters are not bad movies. Spirits within, I've never seen so I can't comment. They are free so why you complaining?

1/10 though, I read this EXACT same post by someone else only they were upset with the video game selection. You're able to forgive them for everything except the MOVIE selection? lol yeah okay at least make your trolling attempt believable.
