    that the new headset for the ps3 sucks and that a lot of people have been taking the headset back cause they just can get it to work. i have not read anything like that to be honest. you guys hear of this?

    Well its a headset so, some can definitely get problems with them...but the actual quality(when they do work) I've heard nothing but positive things about.

    It's a $50 headset, and almost everyone says it's awesome.  And given that most Gamestop employees don't know jack about gaming, I tend not to believe them.  You get a $50 headset and a $40 game for $60.  Get that.  Bundles are good, especially ones that can save you quite a bit of change.

    Half of the store clerks only care about the biggest profit, the other half are retarded fish monkey fanboys who can't make a unbiast comment to save their lives. That being said somewhere along those lines are people like me, store clerks who do play games like their job and enjoy networking with other gamers. I'm just curious when did employees become the authority on all stuff related to games? Most of us don't even get as far as shaking a rep's hand let alone talk to someone mildly important....

    I can tell you from personal experience that the headset is completely and absolutely awesome, although its kind of hard to link up to the game I made a post on that in this forum a copule of weeks ago, fish it out if you ever have problems with it.

    I don't trust Gamestop employees with gaming information. I once went into an Gamestop shoppe and ask one of the employees, "Do you know when Gears of War 2 is being release?" This silly ass person said, "What is Gears of War 2?" Immediately, I wanted to smack this guy, why do you hire a person who don't have a clue about gaming?

    Honestly, the headset is a great peripheral and well worth the $50.00 dollar investment.

    In my experience gamestop and ebgames employees simply don't have a lot of knowledge about video games. In some respects it's hard to blame them, they're living their own lives, and are working at a gamestop a good portion of the day, they may very well have better things to do with their time.

    A lot of the ebgames employees I've met might have still been playing a lot of games when they got a job there, but as they got older they simply didn't have time for it anymore with life in general.

    The employees get most of their information from people who shop there, and the average shopper at gamestop isn't all that intelligent. Really, every gamestop employee should stop by a gaming forum like this every day before or after work, they'd pick up a lot simply from reading all the topic titles, and get the drop on any new info right as it's released.

    I'm actually quite lucky to live close to a GameStop where one of the workers actually knows his stuff pretty well :D  Like when I went to get Dead Space we talked a lot about some of the games coming out and he seemed to know a lot about each one and such...

    They don't suck, they are damn good. Sound quality is great, rarely do you hear static while in-game. It's super comfortable. It deserves the title of official headset.
