PlayStation 3

The PlayStation 3 (often abbreviated PS3) is the third home video game console created and released by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
Super Nintendo
Run Linux on the PS3 and run an SNES emulator on that, to play your "backed up games". Of course GB don't advocate pirating in any form so you're gonna have to find out how yourself.
EDIT:
You can also get a new SNES (the revamped super small version for like 50 new)
"after 14 years my SNES is starting to die, so u can guess my next question........How can you play older roms on the Ps3"Wow, that's sad. Try Ebay, I'm sure you can find another one. I know this game store called Play n Trade that gets used Super Nintendo's and other old consoles all the time.

running linux on PS3 is actually pretty cool.
"Karmum said:actually recession its still illegal most laws were made after cartridge format and thus internal laws within companies and EULA dictate you should not NEED a backup of a cartridge which is what this particular myth *if you own the game you can illegally pirate it* comes from because its not your game any ways its the same game but someone else copied it."JamesF said:If you dont own the game, read the law before u speak""Or you could emulate on your PC / Mac."All of which is illegal."
The exact nature of the whole beast is pretty loose with supposed EXACT definitions of okay emulation use floating out there on the net.
"JamesF said:In most cases, yes"Or you could emulate on your PC / Mac."All of which is illegal."
"after 14 years my SNES is starting to die, so u can guess my next question........How can you play older roms on the Ps3"Just go buy another Snes.
"c'on ppl if the copyright owner is no longer making the product, you should be able to morally and legally be able to use it, this applies only with software"But it isn't up to you to make the laws, is it. And either way, allot of the games you might want to play will be on the Wii Virtual Console, so they are still distributing them, just not in their original format, so even if there was a law along those lines, it would still be illegal.
"Recession said:I'm entirely with Matty on this one. Trying to justify breaking a law like this isn't ethical. Theft is theft, no matter how you spin it, ang game piracy is definitely theft. Do you work for a living? If you do, how would you feel if someone justified stealing a product from you?"c'on ppl if the copyright owner is no longer making the product, you should be able to morally and legally be able to use it, this applies only with software"But it isn't up to you to make the laws, is it. I think what he's arguing is that the copyright holder wouldn't make money on the product anyway.
