I know trophies are what you get if you complete a certain achievement set by the makers...... what's so special about them that I always hear people going crazy over them? What's the advantage? I get loads of trophies when I play the games, I can just view them in the XMB but what is the advantage of them? Do I get PSN Dollars or something?

It's a sense of achievement and a completionist (sic?) thing. Just like achievements on Xbox Live.

For now they're not worth anything more than bragging rights. There's also supposed to be Home integration eventually.

Well I get a lot of trophies in every game I play, actually keep getting them! In Mirror's Edge, I did a weapon steal and got a trophy, then did a flying kick and got a trophy, isn't that a little bizarre?
Where can I see what trophies are left? If I was to challenge the whole trophy thing?

They add to the size of your virtual dong.

The idea of using them as currency in Home is good but, how many trophies can you get in a game? wouldn't that just exhaust the whole idea?
