Unpairing a Sixaxis

I'm now using my PS3 Sixaxis controller to play games on my PC using bluetooth. Problem is that whenever I turn on the controller, it also turns on the PS3 in the next room. How do I unpair my sixaxis from my PS3? I've tried putting a pin in the reset button on the bottom of the controller under the numbered LED's, but that doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried pressing the button, and holding it for 5-10 seconds. Doesn't seem to have any effect.I've also gone through the PS3's menus and can't find an option in there to reset it.

Weird, I've never encountered this.

Sorry, can't help you D: my PS3 stays off while my controller is connected to the PC.

You could just turn off the power switch on the PS3. Other than that, i don't know.

Only solution I can think of other then just umplugging the PS3 is if you have a friend with a PS3 pair it with his.

Like SaFt said, when I play on PC with my ps3 controller , I just usually turn the power down on the back of the ps3. It's easier than anything else.

I had a similar-ish problem myself, only my Sixais would not synch with another PS3. It was very annoying.

@WombatMan: Plug the controller into your PC before you turn on the controller. That'll desync it it so you'll only need to do it the first time.

Thanks mosespippy, that seems to have worked. I'm using the MotionJoy drivers for the sixaxis, so I start MotionJoy, plug in the controller, enable it, then do the bluetooth pair, and now it seems only connected to my PC.
