i got fucked. I tried to download infamous and an error happened and now I lost one of my free slots. FUCK!

Same happened to me lost both my free game slots with nothing to show for it.

I'm very pleased right now that I decided to look around before trying it myself, I had a feeling something would go wrong.

I suggest waiting a couple of hours.

Go to PSN in cross media bar. 
-Account Management 
-Transaction Managment 
-Service List 
-SCEA Promotion 
 
Redownload the one you are having the problem with. Jesus the PSN is a piece of shit and most people arent gonna be able to find this fix.

I lost access to a second game. I wanted to download LittleBigPlanet but it said I didn't have enough space so I backed out and cleared off a few old demo's and now the menu dosent exist. Perhaps if you clicked on the link the OP provided, you might have found this little piece of information regarding stuff disappearing from the welcome back menu.

"If this happened, go to the XMB and under the PlayStation Network column, go to Account Management>Transaction Management>Services List>SCEA Promotions to download the game for that first slot."

This is wonderful, but I still can't log onto the website to change my damn password ¬_¬

It's what happens when anything internet based gets a server overload. Users borked this, Sony just opened the doors, kinda like a Christmas sale / black friday rush.

I just logged into my UK account (I'm in Canada) to see if I could download R&C: A Quest For Booty for free... I'm downloading it right now. Awesome.

@RhombusOfTerror: I'm aware of why it's happening. But my point is that most of the blame goes to Sony for this.

I got all mine after going through twenty error messages over the past 45 mins or so.  I highly reccomend waiting it out for a much smoother process.

Finally got to download my games. Chose inFamous and Wipeout. inFamous is fucking 7gb so I won't be playing that tonight.

The free movie rentals list sucks. 3 movies?

I looked at the list of games on Free Game 1 and I decided to choose the thing called "Free Game 1" whose description was the instructions. Now I think I lost a slot. This is really funny somehow.

I can only suggest reading the thread that you have posted in for the solution to that problem (posted multiple times)

I did the account management thing. Got an error as I was downloading LBP and now it definitely says that I have spent one slot.

damn, I got the error when downloading littlebigplanet on the psp. I went to the account management and i get an error

IT'S ALL BROKE!
