60GB launch, pimped with a 250gb HD

I have a 60 and a 40 both with upgraded HD's, but I voted for the 60 because I love it the most.  :)

40 gig upgraded to 500 gig.

I have a stripped down 80gb. I wish Sony didn't have to remove backwards compatibility due to production costs.

I have a 60gig backward compatible PS3 but it's broken (a red light of death?) and despite claims from PSR1.com that I will get the same system back I'm still worried I will end up with a PS3 Slim in the next couple weeks.

80 Gig should be broken up into two different categories.  The backwards compatible one (4 USB Ports) and the non backwards compatible one (2 USB Ports).

just got mine a couple weeks ago mainly for blu ray player but i snagged the slim

I had the 40GB. Sold it for rent money. Saving up for a Slim.

I have the 60GB launch model. I like me some backwards compatibility.

I DID have the 250GB slim. THat was until assholes stole my shit. Oh I miss that beautiful machine....

slim is where its at its the better version, its not to late for a conversion.

I had the 60 gb at launch, got the 80 gb a year later and once the 80 gb got the ylod, I got the slim.

I have the 80 gig and was bummed to discover it's not backwards compatible.

I have had the 60gb since launch with zero problems, unless you count the mysterious cracked controller I found the day after some heavy drinking. I didn't remember playing games that night at all?!?

60 GB. I was one of  the three people that didn't have a PS2, so I wanted it for playing PS2 games as well.

60 GB launch model, bought used off Amazon a few years ago... no problems with it yet.  

80 GB and Im glad I got it when I did, I think the slim is hideous.

You know there are two 80GB models, right? One is backwards compatible and one's not.

I voted 60G but in reality it's whichever one was the first to retail for $399.  That's when I picked one up.

I think I have the 160GB one.  Not sure though, not at home currently to check.  It came with Uncharted.

I hate that the (entirely interchangeable) HDD sizes are the most obvious defing factor between the models. 
 
I wish I had gotten a BC model early on. That PS2 emulator on PS3 is seeming more and more bogus every six months. :(

A Slim that I bought only several months back.

I put a new hard drive on mine so it looks like a 40 gig one but it has a 250 gig hard drive.

I wasn't bothered by the PS3 at all really (plus I didn't have a job) but I got a job just before the Slim came out so I got that and I love it xD I just have moments of either playing on the 360 or the PS3 so no general favourite =]

Have a 40GB refurb unit.

I have the 60gb, it's nice to have the ability to play my older games.

Slim. I would have liked one with BC, but I already have a PS2, so it's not like it matters.

I bought a 40 gig off of a friend of mine...I thought about buying the slim for a while but I still play some ps2 games and have a bunch more I want to play through (<3 goozex).

I have the lovely white and pink Final Fantasy XIII Japanese slim version. One of the benefits of working abroad - it was cheaper than the equivalent vanilla version! :D

Got the 40gb model, but switched out the drive long ago.

80gb. I'm going to get a slim soon though because I'm running out of HDD space.

I have a slim, which, now I've learnt about OtherOS(which is mostly gone now), I regret buying it instead of an older model. But, hey, it's still a PS3, right?
