So there's the dilemma. My PS3 is broken(Yellow light of death...) and I need to send it to the Sony facility to get it fixed.
The problem is that I have the old fat 40 gig PS3 and I took the hard drive out and put in 250 gig one(the best choice I've ever made)
I asked the customer service guy if I should take the hard drive out and they said "no because there could be something wrong with the hard drive."
But I'm afraid that they would take the hard drive away and put the 40 gig hard drive back in(since the model number indicates that my PS3 is 40 gig, they could "fix" it and give 40 gig hard drive).
What should I do? Should I just risk it and just send it? Or should I take the hard drive out?
