SOCOM Beta loading problem....

I got the SOCOM beta and I got everything installed and ready to go, but When I try to join a match I get the the pre-game lobby and then it goes to load the map, it shows the spinny icon thing and never loads the map, I always end up back at the pre-game lobby for the next game.

What is the problem???? Is this happening to any1 else?

yes, its the servers. i guess we more then they could handle.
i get it too take me like 5-10 mins to load a mad. it should go eventually.

Yeh, they are having server problems because the server went from having nobody on it to thousands of people on it, all at once.
They should be sorted over the next week or so.

The loading tome is ridiculous. Reminds me of the PS1 loading times and we all know how bad that was..

yeah this isn't news..I've given up on even trying to play the beta, I have yet to get into a single game and move around even. I got too frustrated, just going to play it when it comes out.

the servers are getting pounded.....within a week the beta should be running ALOT smoother.

Try joining 8 people matches instead of larger ones. The load times are a lot quicker. It's mainly because the load time is trying to cache a lot of players information which sucks.

Personally I had to wait 12 minutes to get into a match. Wasn't a happy puppy :(

I was wondering this earlier today....I know it's pretty close to release...but say the beta keeps going horrible...and so everyone knows that it doesn't play good at all...would they perhaps delay the game? To give them more time to fix the bugs? It seems doubtful but it was just a thought I had earlier.

back on subject - i just went on and downloaded the New update they put out for it and the wait times are way shorter - even on large map - The lag in game is oretty much gone and all servers were full!

Game is fun again :)
