What PS2 RPGs are yah playing on your PS3, I need an RPG to play while I wait for FF

You have a pretty long wait ahead of you if that's all you're concerned for.....anyway none atm, but I need to get around to finishing Persona 3 at some point, I think the SMT series are the only JRPGs that I honestly enjoy anymore, just because its a breathe of fresh air not having your same damn plot and story as 500 other JRPGs for once.

Can I just start with Persona 3 or 4?  Or do I need to start from the beginning, I really want to play one of these games, but don't have time to play all of them."

The only RPG I'm playing is Folklore, but that's PS3.

They aren't related to each other, you can start wherever you like. Persona 3 FEZ came out earlier this year, it should still be in print(a lot of the SMT games go out of print and then cost like 100 bucks to get) it was around 30 bucks at the time...I'd say look it up and try that, its a really good game.

I'm not playing any PS2 RPG right now, but I look forward to spending many hours in Persona 4 next month!

You're seriously asking about RPGs for the PS2? There's like 4 billion to choose from! Ha! I hope to get Re:CHain of memories in dec, and I would love to have the time to both finish FFXII and play some of the persona games. Xenosaga is a great franchise if you havn't touched them yet.

Persona 3 is a great game...just keep in mind it's clunky and low budget, or else you might go in expecting it to be something it's not and get disappointed. It is very unique, though.

I'm hoping Persona 4 works just as well as 3 with software BC-capable PS3s.

I put on hold Rouge Galaxy. I'm pretty far into the game, but lost interest when I got Tales of Vesperia. Will be playing Persona 3: FES soon. Just ordered it from Amazon 2 days ago. Finished the original and just need the answer. Waiting on Persona 4 till Christmas

Can't play burnt copies of PS2 games on my PS3, but I'm playing Persona 3: FES and Valkyrie Profile 2. Plus later on KH: Re: CoM and Persona 4.
