Neither. Haven't seen anything too cool announced for either one.
PlayStation 4

PlayStation 4 is Sony's fourth home video game console, released on November 15, 2013 in North America, and November 29, 2013 in Europe. On November 10 2016, Sony released the Playstation 4 Pro, an updated version of the console targeting 4K gaming.
From Xbox to Playstation
I just got this strange feeling, strange vibe about PS4 and X1. I am quite confused between the two. So much pros and cons with PS4 and X1 that I cant deicide which one to buy. Been on XBL for 5, 5 and a half years. And go to PSN this winter feels strange. Anyone else feels like that? Or they just disconnect that and go straight for PS4??
I had Launch editions for both. Although it took a while to actually cancel one of them, I finally committed to the PS4.
I'm getting the PS4 as I'm gravitating towards their software especially with Infamous: Second Son coming out early next year. I'd also like to get a feel for the the PS4's controller to judge for myself how well Sony designed it.
PS4 first, then MAYBE I will go for an XB1 afterwards, the thing is I'll need to pay for both subs PS Plus and XBLG which is gonna be approx. $100 a year.
Ive been thinking like crazy. Since the Xbox One wont launch same time as UK here in Sweden ive been sort of going towards the PS4 more and more but yet im still on the X1 side, kinda. Anyone else like this?
I have a few questions; are anyone going from Xbox to Playstation, just like that?
Are there many who's gonna buy both consoles?
Should I get the PS4?? :p

yup. i have the same problem. i had a 360 this generation and i'm not sure what to do. I already have my achievements and friends list etc. on Xbox Live and I would have to start from scratch on the PS4. I love multiplayer shooters and prefer MS Exclusives to Sony Exclusives and I couldn't care less about JRPGS so that's another point for MS. I don't trust Sony when it comes to the online experience or pretty much anything (got burned too many times - Minidisc, PSP, TVs). Browsing the internet this past few months showed me that Sony fanboys are the absolute worst so that's another thing. I don't want to be associated in any way with these people.
On the other hand getting a Playstation sounds like a better deal. Hardware is better and I can get a PS4 with 2 games and a second controller for the same exact price as just the Xbox One imported from the UK with nothing else...also my real life friends are buying PS4's so I could exchange games with them. Resolution Gate was dumb, because comparing launch games is just idiotic, but still...I don't have a PC so I want the best console version of a game out there and it seems like the PS4 is the place for me for now.
TL;DR
Personally I prefer everything on the Microsoft side, but there is still something pushing me towards PS4 (launch games running better, price, everyone is getting a PS4 = more people online in multiplayer games etc.). I have no idea what to do. In the end I just know that I want to buy a console that all games are being made for, just like 360 that last generation, and I don't care if it's a Microsoft or a Sony product.
I'm confused, but I want the new shiny thing so I have to buy something ;d
I'm done with 720p gaming, it was a fad in 2006 maybe but we deserve higher standards for our 2013 hardware. Playstation 4 is the only true next-gen console.

You too huh? This sucks, doesnt it??! Although, about the online part on PS, right now, it seems alot better. They seem to improved it alot. The games for PS4 looks really exciting, specially The Order. I am quite exhausted of the Xbox games. Halo, Dead Rising and Forza? They've dragged out that series for so long :p Maybe Halo 5 is AWESOME! But ill watch it on youtube if i buy PS4. I am though a PS from start. Had a PS when PS1 shipped.
Like to add that my childhood friend is gonna buy PS4, he never owned an Xbox so maybe I should go with PS4 so he and I can play.

Yeah, PSN definitely looks better than it did, but i'm still cautious. I just trust Microsoft more in that field. They have the infrastructure, and they were upgrading it with the money from subscribers. Also, all my stuff is already there ;d
You're exhausted with Xbox games? I kinda feel you, but I still like them a little bit more than the ones on Playstation. Forza 5 looks super cool to me, maybe because I skipped 4, but damn I like me some Forza from time to time... also I'm really excited for a couple of Xbox exclusives coming out later like Titanfall (!), D4 (!!) and Quantum Break (!!!)(I love Remedy). Order looks interesting, but nothing else on Sony's side looks cool for me personally. I absolutely loathe Killzone. Finished 1 and played through a couple of levels in 2 and 3 and totally hated it. Infamous never clicked with me, Knack looks like a good game, but for kids and I know nothing about Driveclub, other than that creepy guy who wanted to fuck a car at Sony's press conference earlier this year. Hopefully they'll make some new crazy IP's.
I was also a Sony guy some time ago. I bought my PS1 pretty soon after it came out, then I had a PS2, and after that I made the jump to the 360.
Anyway, Indie games are actually the most important thing to me (after shooters ;d) and even though i'm pretty sure that 99% of them, will end up on Xbox One after the exclusivity period on PS4 is done, I feel like Sony did a much better job of showing that they actually care about this stuff. I don't like Adam Boyes as a person (something about his personality just rubs me the wrong way), but damn he did a good job with indies.
btw. Have you tried flipping a coin? I did that and I was hoping for that moment, where you can see the result and your brain is like NO, FLIP AGAIN! YOU DON'T WANT THAT, but nothing happened ;c
I don't see a reason to have either one this year. I own a ps3/360/wii so I wouldn't be changing sides either way
I've owned pretty much every console except Wii U/Saturn, but I'm going with just the Xbox one at launch due to the exclusives and all the interesting new features. I'll wait for some games to come out on PS4 since I basically consider it just a specs upgrade. I am VERY happy that they have fixed their controller though.
Staying far far away from both until the first hardware refresh.
Fucked myself so bad buying an early PS3 last gen...
I'll just be sitting here in this corner, looking at upgrading to a 770 and drooling over my vita OLED.

I feel the same way. Xbox Live is really the greatest thing when it comes to online. My stuff is also there :p Forza dont interest me at all, not a car guy :p haha. Ryse? Hm, maybe, and Dead Rising? Alittle.. The thing that keeps me thinking of Xbox One is: Xbox Live, new features, my achievements, possible new friends, and maybe the controller? THe freshness of its dashboard... Ohhh, Quantum Break, have not thought of that for quite sometime, that game looks great! AFter typing this, im still confused..
I do want a fresh start somehow, but still be on Xbox 360 and TitanFall does come out on that which is cool! :)
Flip coin? hahaha, no dude :P
I was more into Xbox 360 because multiplatform games looked and ran better on that system. I am switching to PS4 this time because multiplatform games look and perform better on that system, and should continue to do so. 90% of games I play are multiplatform so it really is that simple for me.
That said, I'll own both just like I did last time. I'll get the One in a year or two, when it has more exclusives I care about.
