What are you guys rocking for themes? I'm getting sick of the music on mine and need a change of pace.

The PS1 theme is the only acceptable answer to this question.

I've had that Transistor theme since it came out and I have no inclination to switch. it looks nice enough and it's got a pretty chill vocal track.

I have like 18 million themes I got for free/from PS+/from pre-ordering games.

All of them have been godawful -- except for the Fallout 4 one. Everything has remained pretty readable while not being at all destracting. I'm not even all that into Fallout -- it's just that most of the themes are hot garbage.

The regular theme is pretty good, though, so it's not a big deal.

I was using the PS1 classic theme. Then the bloodborne theme. Now the Everybody's Gone to the Rapture theme.

I've never paid money for a theme. At least, I've never bought a theme separately.

I still use the default theme, only with a darker blue.

When I originally got The Order: 1886, I purchased one of the dynamic themes featuring the four Knights that had some movement and lighting effects. Other than using that theme from time to time, I stick with the default theme and the spiral theme I got for free off of the PS Store.

I wouldn't know anything about these. Never even dabbled in themes, I swear.

I've used the Transistor one ever since it came out. The Journey one is also nice.

I'm actually pretty bummed the galakz theme doesn't have the music because I love the music in that game. I ended up donating for the Nepal theme and I'm pleased with that it has good colors in it. At least the bullshit price when to a good cause.

I went through the trouble of getting a Disgaea 5 Seraphina theme. Worth it.

I just wish there was a way to preview a theme before you buy it.

I got the ffX one. I like how it makes the final fantasy noises when going through the menus.

I can just picture some jackass suit at Sony coming up with these shit themes.

Such bullshit stereotyping. It's so obvious that the people coming up with these things have literally never been actively involved in any gaming community in their entire lives and that they are simply basing these ideas on what they think their angsty 16 year old son would like

PS1 anniversary theme. None of the others have really tempted me to buy them, aside from the FFX Zanarkand theme, but the PS1 is fine. I miss my Heavy Rain themes for PS3 :(

There's a sister theme to that one called "Dynamic Horror Skulls Theme". It uses the same music, but has different art and tormented souls instead of fire. I don't like it as much, but if you're looking for a cooler color tone for a theme, it fits the bill.

Get the Great Whale theme. Believe me. Just do it.

They are simply embarrassing. Okay, you want a sexy lady on your PS4, fine. But don't give $2.99 to these idiots putting out F- level anime art. Buy the good ones and what "8" mouth breathers gave the above FIVE STAR ratings?

I use the free Paper one. It's got a boat on the sea and some surprisingly catchy music. It's nice and chill. Might use the Fallout one once I get around to pre-ordering.

I wonder when we can have custom wallpapers for PS4 like we had with PS3. I think wallpapers with a choice of icons and fonts on PS3 just made more sense. I mean, the good ones like (PSX theme, paper, rectangles )for PS4 are merely tolerable; so just some choice of background would be nice.

Most of them have horrible art and colros but there's some gems to be found.

I'm currently using the Rocket League Theme.

I've been using the Witcher 3 theme for a while now and haven't felt the need to change it yet.

As someone who enjoys himself a healthy amount of smut I have to agree with you. Even if you want busty anime ladies on your dashboard paying these yahoos $4 is a rip-off.

To answer the OP I am currently rocking the FFXIV:Heavensward theme which I got for free by pre-ordering the expansion.

I'm using the Everybody's Gone to the Rapture theme that came with the game. It's relaxing.

Same here. I dare say I'm more satisfied with the theme than I am the game. It even changes with your system clock!

i dont know if you can do this on ps4 but on ps3 you could make your own or technically download "illigal" themes like the ones on the store that then got exported. and you could just import them to your ps3 via a thumbdrive. but i actually bought the heavy rain theme the one where its raining in that alley because its really relaxing and not bright so the light from the screen would not be annoying in dark situations. on ps4 im using the ps1 theme only because you can get the boot up sound. there are no good dynamic themes for ps4 and dynamic themes are the only ones i care about but they also have to be good and not bright

I currently have it on the one for Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. Others that I think are pretty good are the Transistor one, PS 20th Anniversary, and Paper Sculpture.
