    PlayStation 4 is Sony's fourth home video game console, released on November 15, 2013 in North America, and November 29, 2013 in Europe. On November 10 2016, Sony released the Playstation 4 Pro, an updated version of the console targeting 4K gaming.

    What many thought is now confirmed.

    When Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 wasn't going to be backwards compatible or allow you to download current PlayStation Network titles, DC Universe Online players freaked out. Had the hours spent creating heroes and villains in the MMO been a waste?

    Today, Sony Online Entertainment has an answer: no. DC Universe Online is coming to the PlayStation 4 -- and so is Planetside 2, the first-person shooter MMO currently available for PC.

    No info if it will support crossplatformplay or not.

    My guess is that Planetside 2 will support cross-platform play with the PC. Whether DCUO can cross over with the PS3 version, that would probably be slightly more difficult, maybe?

    Awesome, maybe I'll actually try Planetside 2 now. Sony announced Warframe for PS4 also.
