Just have to ask. Why is Big Daddy in the Sony character only game?
@Battezu: Because this - http://www.joystiq.com/2012/03/08/levine-wants-to-show-you-bioshock-on-vita-not-talk-about-it/
@StarvingGamer: Point taken, but Konami has been involved with Nintendo quite heavily throughout their history.
@shootermcclay: Big kid on the Internet. But it's OK. I know your mom never loved you.
@RazielCuts: Yet it's still a cross platform game that's never been singly involved with just Sony. Others are.
If anything, I am rather disappointed about the potential of the inclusion of the Big Daddy. Since Sony wasn't as limited to use mostly their roster as Nintendo, I thought they would go all out with the guest characters (sort of like the "for Michael" commercial), but so far it seems like they would rather scratch the bottom of their line up before getting too crazy with guests.
I suppose because he is recogniseable, and also because Irrational and Sony have been making deals lately. This is why you saw Ken Levine talk about a PS Vita game that his team was working on. Whether that will eventuate, who knows. But I think it's nice to see third party developers characters make the roster. Sony have a great stable of characters, and it's good too see that other studios put their trust and faith into the team to allow them to use their characters to possibly better their game. And it's also nice to see Sony go back into their archives and pull out some of the older characters, like Parappa and give them a chance. He was cool before many of the people here grew up with games.
