From my post in the Main Article:

Cole McGrath, Nathan Drake, Nathan Hale, Solid Snake, Jak (And Daxter), Ratchet(and clank), um... Maybe the unlockable robot from Sports Champions. Both main characters from Folklore. Nariko from Heavenly Sword. Maybe Wander from Shadow of the Collosus, because that stage would be awesome. Oh, and Walter Goddamned Sullivan.

Those are the few PS3/Sony centric characters I could think of off the top of my head I'd want to see in it. Even though Solid Snake and Cole McGrath have also both been in other fighting games.

I enjoyed Super Smash Brothers. This might be cool. Also, as @Pixel_Kaiser said, Kevin Butler should totally be the announcer.

Hell, the whole game should be prefaced as taking place in Kevin Butler's dreams.

Ratchet, Clank and Captain Quark from the Ratchet & Clank series, a few other Twisted Metal characters and Nariko from Heavenly Sword. Also, Crash Bandicoot (who used to be first party character) and Mega Man as third party characters.

I'm hoping for some more secondary characters, and not just the ones whose names are the titles of their games.

Sully and/or Zeke
A Grim from Resistance

Applying the Lincoln Force theory of Knees-and-Elbows

Lavitz Slambert from Legend of Dragoon.
Deimos, Kratos' brother (could be a Kratos clone)
Kessler from the first Infamous.
Anything from Demon's Souls.
Jeanne from Jeanne D'Arc (with redhead palette-swap version)
An Eye of Judgment monster or two.

As far as third-party guests, I'd like to see Selvaria Bles in her Valkyria form. Adam Jensen could be interesting as well.

I'm hoping for some deep cuts from Sony. There should be stuff that everybody will know, but I'm hoping there will be nods to things that you would have to be a Playstation fan to understand.

Yeah they could just put in a shit load of Square Enix characters in the game..... I dont have a particular list to be honest

I bet they'll get a Capcom or Namco character in their since they have worked with their characters in fighting games, like Cole in Street Fighter X Tekken or Kratos in Soul Calibur.

I think having a nod to Kevin Butler would be okay, but putting him in the game as a character would be incredibly weird to me.

Of course, I'm a supporter of having Ethan Mars in the game and giving him a special move of crawling on broken glass... so my opinion counts for nothing.

@Spoonman671: Nice. You're like one of the only people on here besides me who would even know what a Grim is!... without posting the picture I mean. Poor, poor Resistance =( You deserved better.

I imagine if they would put in Deimos, they could outfit his attacks with that gauntlet he uses during the boss battle? Though it'd be cool if they do mix in secondary characters as clones - maybe as alternate costumes ala Tekken. But then I guess having them take up an entire character slot wouldn't exactly be unprecedented; it'd be like Mario/Luigi and Fox/Falco in SSB.

If they were to bring in an extra Uncharted character, though, (besides a steroid smurf... which I would genuinely love to see get added), I think Lazarevic would fit better than Sully. He'd make sense to have a different set of weapons and abilities, like that killer sawn-off of his, whereas Nate and Sully would probably be too similar.

@Abyssfull: Sully could put his cigar out on his opponent's face. Nate doesn't smoke cigars.

I'd say Captain Blasto, but without the voice...I dunno

Also, I agree with the Valkyria Chronicles wishes. It would be cool if it were Welkin, and you could swap between squad member types, like the Pokemon Trainer in Brawl.

perhaps LocoRoco will make it in?

And if there isn't some form of Ape Escape representation in this game, i'll be quite sad indeed

This has been stated many times, but Spyro and Crash Bandicoot must be in the game in order for it to be successful. You should update your roster so we can stop talking about that. Solid Snake should be in the essentials as well.

Personally, I'd also love to see Dante and Sora (from Kingdom Hearts). If they squeeze a deal for multiplat characters, Batman (one can dream) and Big Daddy would be great too.

I'd say any of the Persona 3/4 cast would be nice additions, but I'd really go nuts if they included Kain or Raziel from Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain. I fear the chances are less than nil though...
