Just wondering because I'm still on the fence about it myself. None of the games look too interesting except maybe The Fight and the normal games that are getting support like Heavy Rain, RE5 and Little Big Planet 2. It's coming out in a few weeks and I haven't seen anyone talk about it here, so I was just curious if any of you guys are even interested in it. If you are getting it, what launch games are you going to pick up?
PlayStation Move Support
Concept »
PlayStation Move is a motion control system for the PlayStation 3 console, allowing for fluid control of objects in a simulated 3D space.
Anyone here actually getting PlayStation Move?
I'm curious how RUSE will play with it, but besides that there aren't many Move-enabled games (so far, anyway) that I'm interested in.
I'm sure I'll eventually see that one game that makes me go "fuck yes" and buy it, but such a game has yet to be announced.
I'm on the fence about it, too, but I doubt I'll be picking it up at launch. I used to do some archery, but now that my neighborhood has become a bit more developed it's not as easy as grabbing my bow and going in the backyard anymore. If the archery in Sport Champions is accurate enough I might give that a try. I'm also very intrigued by Sorcery, and I'm curious enough about games like Socom and Killzone to give those a try with the Move.
EDIT: Oh, and I completely forgot about Dead Space: Extraction. That's actually the biggest selling point for me since I love Dead Space.
I am. I got to try it out for a few hours last Thursday, and loved what I played.

Probably not, I already have a Wii to fill in my motion-control-device-that-sits-in-the-corner-to-collect-dust role.
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooonoooooooooooooooooooooonononononononono
no
Sony aren't sending it out to die like the PSP Go as there seems to be alot of support for it. Not really an "if" question, more of a "when". Just need some good games that use it well to get me onboard.
No More Heroes and Dead Space 2 (with free Extraction) are looking to be the games that do it.
Tried it for a minute or two at FanExpo and I have to say it's not impressive as the Kinect and I have been doing the same thing with my Wii-mote for the last bit anyways... so no
I just got a PS3...but no, I'm not going to get it (reminds me too much of the Wii)...I am getting the Kinect however
Absolutely, I like to play just about anything esp concerning new hardware/tech.
Besides it might get me playing my PS3...
Think I'm selling/trading in my Wii.
Getting Kinect as well...
I'd rather try playing Killzone 3 w/ motion conrtols than put up w/ the horrible looks of something like CoD World @ war on the Wii.
Seems like it will be the high def version of everything the Wii wanted to be + 1:1 tracking,.
I'm in!
I probably will just because I already have the camera, but it really boils down to the games it will support and whether or not the added functionality is worth it.
I already own Heavy Rain, but I don't see the added value in playing it again, period, let alone with waggle added. I'm holding out for something more unique.
I tried it this past weekend along with Kinect, and while I'm not entirely sold on either, Move has definitely impressed me more with simply being pretty accurate while having some interesting games. I'll have to see the reviews for the launch games but right now it's a maybe, especially since I already have the camera.
I'm pretty sure I will. It was mostly Dead Space: Extraction that pushed over the fence on whether or not I was getting the Move.
I'm a little interested in seeing how SOCOM 4 with handle with the Move, but I'll probably just use the Dualshock for that.
I'm more interested in the Move than I am Kinect, that's for sure.
But I may get both... I'm kinda interested in Dance Central, not gonna lie.
I'm sure there will be other titles that will utilize the Move exceptionally. I think Kinect will have a harder time finding it's titles that really stand out.
We shall see...
At some point, but probably not at launch. The launch games don't seem that great, unless table tennis for Sports Champions ends up being as good as Rockstar's game was on 360(which I doubt a mini game will be as good as a full fledged game) and if The Fight ends up being great, which I kind of doubt. But KZ3 and Grand Slam Tennis 2011 will probably be awesome, and if Child of Eden gets Move support (seems like a no-brainer) I will definitely buy Move by early next year.
Move looks a lot better than Kinect though. From better looking launch games, actual proof the Move will work as intended standing or sitting, announced future games, and the ability to take my favorite genres such as FPS, TPS, fighters, 3rd person action adventures, and beat-em-ups and improve on them as opposed to Kinect potentially either not getting anything that isn't on rails. I don't want to jump up and down, or do the hokey pokey in my games. Give me precision aim for shooters, and accurate swings for punches and melee weapons. Every thing else works just fine for thumbsticks and buttons.
Yeah, I have had it on pre-order since I checked it out earlier in the year. It's a pretty amazing piece of kit, and there are now 50 games announced to support it.

The best use of motion control I've ever played. Any shot you can perform in real-life, you can do with this thing. It's pretty damn impressive.
If there is at least 1 good M-rated sword fighting game that really takes advantage of the move, then maayyyybbe. otherwise no. i really want to chop some heads. like uh uh uh uh uh with an axe.
Not until Dead Space 2 comes out or perhaps Killzone 3. I have a camera all I need is the move wand. So I'm not in a rush.
Well I am. I got one for myself and my girlfriend. I showed a couple videos to my girlfriend and her friends and they were super excited and amazed about it. I thought there reaction was a little too weird. But I got two move controllers and one navigation controller with start the party (already have the eye). I got my girl the starter bundle and another move controller, so we get to play start the party and sports champions, probably the two best move only game out right now. And Im definitely going to try out Heavy Rain next week with that patch. But there aren't any real games that I'm looking forward too for Move, not even Killzone 3. The only one that I'm looking forward to for Move is Sorcery.
