PlayStation Move is a motion control system for the PlayStation 3 console, allowing for fluid control of objects in a simulated 3D space.

Sony.... pretty much owns Wii and Xbox

Yeah, as you all know (or may not know) I am the farthest thing from a Sony fan - the PS3 was my first Sony system.

However, I will not deny when it is right: it doesn't rid itself of a controller to get motion, and it is more precise than the wii.

Here, this guy will explain what I mean:

Microsoft's response should be interesting, considering that Move is just a red ball on a wii remote

I haven't seen any software that makes it look like something worth owning. That's all I care about.

So I'm yet to be convinced.

The day they show software with functions impossible on Wii should be pretty glorious. Everyone's just hyping the capabilities of the hardware to no end, yet even by most GDC hands-on reports the actual software utilises it in a way that isn't far removed from Wii titles, even in the boxing and the gladiator game which were mostly gesture based instead of 1:1 (more so than WSR's swordplay). Their tech demos were impressive, especially those with physics, but their games, not so much, being more me too like approaches. It was especially funny to see people hyping how in SOCOM you have your cursor detached from the center of the screen so that you can aim wherever you want and adjust your turning speed by how far to the edges you point it to. Welcome to 2006.

I'm unimpressed by Sony's attempt to copy the classic game of cup and ball
