So Geoff Keighley says he'll be revealing a huge PS3 exclusive on the next GTTV.

I think Crash Banditcoot has to be in this game. Sure he isn't Sony exclusive anymore, but make him a Guest character.

I actually dont think so....  What makes Super Smash Bros fun is that there is a wide selection of interesting characters.  I think Playstation is kinda limited when it comes to that....

Sounds good- Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Dexter, Rachet & Clank, Spyro, Sly Cooper, Cole, Snake, Kratos... maybe a Helghast- I can see it.

Let's see you got the Ratchet stuff, Jak stuff, Sly stuff, sack boy... I don't think Kratos and Nathan Drake would fit but I bet they don't care. Maybe Snake could be in this game too. That would be extra funny.

Sony characters don't interest me enough for this.

In smash bros I remember I used to play as one of those prince dudes a lot...Marth or something? So I think Wander will act as the equivalent for me. 

Makes sense, other than Nintendo Sony has a huge cast of characters. I just want to play as Ethan Mars and Jason everyone to win!

it will be probably be ok-ish, but no smash bros.

I think sony has enough characters old and new for a game like this to work.

Plenty of characters from current games like Uncharted and God of war and so on can be in it but Bring back random people Gabe from Syphon filter. The Medievil guy......Buzz.

Get a Nissan Skyline in there somehow to represent Gran Turismo.

Guest characters all seem like of obvious. Snake, Crash, Spyro, someone from Final Fantasy and so on... But I am sure due to licencing stuff we wont see a lot of those. Maybe they will be DLC.

I just really hope it has a stupid story to explain why this is happening... Like Ken Kutaragi is the final boss or something.

I'm calling it ... It's gonna be mediocre at best .

@Vegetable_Side_Dish: That's a really good list, Add Spike/Kakeru from Ape Escape 1 and Mr.Domino as a boss character and I'd be all in.

I wonder how they will handle it, I mean will we see Nathan Drake get a baseball bat and hit Kratos off the stage?

Also, Fat Princess? As in the princess herself? I would've firgured I'd play as one of the guys instead.

Come to think of it, maybe the king would make even more sense. The voice talent would make it more interesting. Also maybe he can summon guys to help him so it'd be sort of like Captain Olimar, or Pokemon Trainer, or Ice Climbers.

As for the princess, she'd be either a stage/background prop, or an attack. (falls from the sky crushing anyone below) Or both.

Origami Crane from Heavy Rain is top-tier.

Would be hilarious if both Snake and Sonic are in it. That would make it worth bearing the facepalmness of there being a Sony Smash Bros.

I think every console should have at least one of these. Smash Bros. is still awesome, so if it were like that but with Playstation exclusive characters that would be super cool.

In fairness, if you include all of Rare's franchises and Fable for MS, you'd have enough to make a game right there :P

But I just don't think Sony have enough interesting characters. There's a few I'd love to see in it: Parappa the Rapper, Dan Fortesque, Cole and Sackboy. There's a few others that would obviously fit in with that same style, but then are you really going to have someone from Resistance, Nathan Drake, Kratos? The style's don't mesh as well as they do with Nintendo's characters and the roster runs thin much quicker.

If the gameplay is good, it could work.. but I dunno, it's not going to have the mass appeal of Smash Brothers and I just can't see it being any good.

I'm interested in the gameplay. Will it play like Smash Bros? Thats a bit too cartoony of gameplay when you have characters like Nathan Drake or Sweettooth (Needles Kane) though its perfect for Jak or Ratchet. Its also weird you'd have a pyschotic killer clown in a game with an ocelot that does a lot of one liners and a raccoon that steals stuff

Kevin Butler should be a character.

The only Sony character that interests me is Kevin Butler, and he's not a character.

You might be right on the fun part, but what other company other than Sony have so many different characters such as Jak & Dater / Nathan Drake / Kratos / Scott Shelby / Sackboy / the protagonist from Journey. They might not be as cute and lovable as the Nintendo characters but to say they are not diverse wouldnt be true.

Nope, don't think this is a good idea at all. the charm of the Smash Bros. Series has a lot to do with the cartoony quirkiness of all those Nintendo characters. I just don't see how this fits in with all those Sony characters. From Nathan Drake to Ratchet, to Kratos, to Sly Cooper, etc. It's a weird mix. And if they left out all those human characters, it would be even weirder. I don't even like Smash Bros. that much and the sheer notion of a Sony version of this type of game makes me go "eh? why?!" (with the obvious answer being "Teh Moneyzzz!!").

Also, it weirds me out how unashamedly Sony keeps copying a certain other Japanese console manufacturer's concepts ...

They really should have saved this and the new God of War for E3...

If the worm thing from Noby Noby Boy is in the game I may have to finally buy a PS3.

Meh, they made it work with nintendo characters which on the surface are all a bunch of crap.
