249$ is an excellent price.   Pretty much a day 1 buy from me.   I was expecting something near 400$.

For the hardware and capabilities being packed into the PS Vita, I have to say that I'm shocked to see the price is not only reasonable, but a downright steal. $249.99 is a fantastic price for this product, and I'm considering getting one so long as the software is up to snuff.

Before anyone goes apeshit over the feature set, remember that E3 hardware announcements are at least 50% bullshit. We'll see what features actually make it to market.

Perfect price. Gonna go pre-order that ASAP. Also I hope PSV catches on because I'm not a huge fan of PSVita. Maybe it'll grow on me, who knows.

You can play all the PSP games that you have downloaded from the store. Obviously you can't play UMDs.

They talked nothing about the PSP game remakes on PS3, but they instead went for cross-platform play. Tokyo game show is gonna fucking crazy this year.
