June is here, and after modest release schedule in May, I'm here again with a more lively list for this month. As usual, it is focused on the North American market, with Europe and Japan exclusive titles in their own sections below.

Retail-wise we've got ports of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, and Vanillaware's 2009 2D action-adventure Muramasa Rebirth confirmed. Retailers also seem to think that Naughty Dog's PS2 action platformers are due out with the Jak & Daxter Collection, as well as the not-at-all-Thundercats-looking LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey, though I don't believe either has had an official release date announcement yet.

For PSN titles, the month starts off strong with slow paced puzzle game Quell Memento, a port of the million selling puzzle platformer Limbo, while the curious game/social app thing Toro's Friend Network finally makes it's debut outside of Japan. No firm dates for what's due later, though both top rated shoot 'em up Velocity Ultra and pixelated homicide-a-thon Hotline Miami are likely.

While May was meager for new releases, the same can not be said for new title announcements. The show stealer was definitively Sony Japan Studio's Panopticon trailer, which turned out to be the muliplayer focused Vita title Freedom Wars.

Beyond that Ubisoft showed off Rayman Legends for Vita with 5 exclusive levels, while Tecmo Koei revealed they're bringing over Atelier Meruru Plus, as well as Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force's stab at Monster Hunter - Toukiden. Americans will also get the opportunity to get their plowing on, with the confirmation that the currently Europe only Farming Simulator 2012 will be crossing the Atlantic.

The indie avalanche continues with Tony-Hawk-meets-Canabalt Vita exclusive Olliolli, in addition to Counterspy, Doki-Doki Universe (from the creator of Toejam & Earl), Hohokum, C-Wars, Atomic Ninjas, A.N.N.E., Dying: Sinner Escape, Death Ray Manta, and Flower.

Japan got a Super Robot Wars title, a Super Robot Anime Heroine Wars title, Exstetra - a new RPG from the developers of Unchained Blades, and a bunch of visual novels.

And there you go, you're now up to date on what's been happening games wise with the Vita. Here's hoping E3 will bring plenty to write about next month. On to the list:

Really hope Hotline Miami comes out this month. Also, Paint Park Plus came out. If you count that as a game. Tor's Friend Network seems good so far and I'm excited for the indies, especially "Stick It To The Man".

@devilzrule27: Warrior's Lair has never been officially canceled, nor has Sony San Diego announced that they're working on something else (besides MLB), so I'm keeping it on the list for now. And yes, there have been rumors that it was canceled, but then there are also rumors that we'll get an update at E3, so we'll see what happens.

@blacklagoon: Oh I wasn't saying you should remove it. I was just lamenting the fact that it will probably never come out. It's exactly the type of game I want on the Vita.

Heey who knows. Maybe they've spent the last year since they took it away from Idol Minds rebuilding the game. The Idol Minds guys said it was 3 months away from being finished when it was taken away from them. If it shows up at E3 that would be amazing.
