Wouldn't you know it - it's all ready September, and I'm here again with a run down of the current and upcoming games for the PlayStation Vita. As usual, this list is focused on the North American market, with Europe and Japan exclusive titles in their own sections below. (Oh, and I know the "next few months" section is lacking at the moment. It's a pain to maintain, especially when all the indie rarely have launch dates annouced in advance, and even when they do they often get delayed.)

For retail titles this month, fan favorite Danganronpa returns with the sequel Goodbye Despair. We also get fantasy SRPG Natural Doctrine, and all-girl fighting game Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!. Downloadable titles open with shoot 'em up/platformer Velocity 2X (free for Plus subscribers), a port of Joe Danger, the big cross-over musou title Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate, fiendish survival sim Don't Starve, redneck MOBA Deathmatch Village, and casual Mahjong Gold. As usual expect more titles to get dates as the month progresses.

New-game-announcement-wise, the main retail titles were the currently Europe only The Muppets Movie Adventures platforming adventure, and a localization for the Vita port of the second Hyperdimension Neptunia game Re;birth2. Beyond that there were the usual slew of indie games, including Nom Nom Galaxy, Papers, Please, and Nidhogg, as well as port of Metal Slug 3.

In Japan, Square Enix annouced they're porting all 4 games in their premier mobile RPG franchise to the Vita as Chaos Rings III Prequel Trilogy. Bandai revealed Gundam Breaker 2, One Piece: Kaizoku Musou 3, and God Eater 2: Rage Burst. D3 Publisher promised an enhanced version of the second Earth Defense Force game. Acquire may or may not be working on more Way of the Samurai. Falcom is definitively making more Ys. And Marvelous showed a new entry in the previously Nintendo exclusive Luminous Arc series, as well as giving us more big breasted ninjas to oogle at with Senran Kagura: Estival Versus. There may also be Touhou on the way for those who care about that.

And, I think we're done. Join me next month when Marvelous decidedly NSFW ninja brawler Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus will hopefully make its entrance.
