Sony decided a good way to advertise there new handheld is a boat, I mean cause thats what we all see every day am I right? Well they made it to also compete in some competition, unfortunately there boat capsized and sank in the Atlantic. Both the people are all right but had to spend a night on an emergency raft.

Im not sure what OP is getting at. Company's advertise on just about anything. How often do you see the Oscar Myer Weiner Mobile driving around? Im sure that has crashed into something at some point. Or the dozens of actual Race cars that crash daily, those dont point to the end of a company or product.
