Guys, this is only the first party launch lineup. There are already more launch games coming from 3rd parties.
So what your saying is, "Hey guys RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGGGGGGGGEE RAAAAAAACER" Might be at launch?

My thoughts exactly. Gravity Rush will be the one deciding factor on if I pick up a Vita at launch, or continue to not play my portable backlog in favor of Sudoku on my Droid on the 10min ride to work.
Decent line up, it's certainly a lot better than what the 3DS had.. but there's already 3 racing games, and that's not counting third party games like Ridge Racer. Motorstorm and Wipeout look great, but I really wouldn't want more than one and the only other interesting game is Uncharted.
I'll think I'll wait and see how it's doing after a year.

I was really addressing the people basically saying "where's Lumines?"

I'm buying mine when Persona 4 The Golden comes out
Ditto, but even then I just might buy the game and wait for the handheld to drop in price.
Wow, actually a great lineup.
Wipeout 2048, Gravity Rush, Motorstorm RC and Uncharted would be instant day-one purchases for me.
And the "buy-a-Vita-game-get-a-PS3-version-for-free" deal is pretty amazing. Not bad at all, Sony!
That's a great line up and the other launch window games are the icing on this hard plastic and electronic cake
I am very interested in the Vita, but I really would have to test drive it first and see what 3rd party devs are doing.
Still not really interested in the system as the games don't seem like ones that I would really want to play. Who knows though? As we get closer to launch, maybe I'll buy into the hype and submit.
I looked at that and thought...hey! A new uncharted! That would be nice...But then I looked at the analog sticks. Why is the left stick at the bottom? I hate that aspect about the dual shock, but it'll be ever worse on a small handheld like this. I can barely use the psps analog nub, because of how massive my hands are. The right one is fine....but that left stick needs to change up with the d-pad for me to spend 250$ on the thing

My last handheld was the original gameboy.
I wouldn't be sure where or when to use one.
My almost 10 years old mobile has no games on it.
I'm not curious, at which occasions do you guys/gals
use your handhelds? While on the bus or train, at home,
after work, or just meanwhile?
Thought about getting a DS once, when I got the original
C-64 Giana Sisters running on my little sister's DS.
I always, and still, liked arcade titles, so I don't know
if the Vita would be appealing to me. Haven't even
had a console since the SNES.
But the some of the titles sound good, know some
from Quicklooks, and friends that like em.
At home and sometimes on the train - maybe at school.
Been on hiatus from handheld gaming for a while my self, but plan to "restart" with the PSV.
I like it for the portability and conveniences (as well as privacy too) - when compare to a home console, you can play in your room, on the bed, wherever etc ... no need to hog the living room television. I plan for it to replace my PS3 as my main console, so I really hope the PSV will take off - the 3DS is way underpowered; yet again.
As for "arcade titles", well it has 2 analog sticks so ...
Hmmm, I only want Uncharted out of all the launch titles.... Maybe I'll wait for when more games to come out before purchasing.
lucky thing the launch title doesn't include dragon crown and P4 golden, so there's still time to wait till Sony finally realize that memory stick for vita is ridiculously overpriced, or companies like sandisk or something develops a substitute to it
Pretty great lineup. It has at least 4 games I really want to play. That's 4 more than 3DSs launch. GG Sony.
Between this and the 3rd party line up (admittedly not all of those are coming at launch) there is plenty there for me. Will be picking up a Vita day one and then working my way through those games.
I... Don't think that word (Defiantly) means what you think it means.Gravity Daze looks amazing. Defiantly picking that up at launch.
Uncharted, Wipeout, Everybody's Golf and Super Stardust seem good. Not a bad launch lineup at all, especially compared to erm, other handheld launches recently.
I was going to get this but I finally convinced myself that I'm just about done with playing 'huge' games on portable devices. I'll use that $250 towards a Wii U instead.
Its a pretty solid lineup but I dont think Ill get it. I wanted it at first but the price point is whats holding me back....
@GregHorrorShow: Yeah, I'm on the same page. Dig the lineup, and I think the dual analog sticks are going to give developers plenty to work with in the future.
Looking like a nice launch line-up. I don't know if I'm going to drop 250 plus games on a portable device though. I would rather but these games to play on my PS3.
I am so excited for this handheld, I am one of the few that loves the PSP, and as "pointless" as it may seem I love the PSP Go and am super pumped at the prospect of console gaming on a handheld. That was one of the big thongs I really enjoyed about the PSP. I have a wife and 2 kids so the tv tends to be hogged. I know I may be on the fringe with my situation and what I am excited about but hey different strokes
How would pricing work for this thing they are doing with the PS3 and Vita. I mean if Vita games are supposedly going to be 40 bucks, but you get the ps3 version for free, what incentive would anyone have to go out and buy the full priced 60 dollar version? Or will these games basically be up-rezed Vita games slapped on a Blu-Ray in order to keep their 40 dollar price tag?
The ability to "access" the PS3 version doesn't really seem to say much for me.
