I recently checked out Warframe again as well, and the moment you were flying in your ship during the loading screen was when I realized it was totally just Destiny. Except you can move the ship in Warframe, so it's objectively the better game.

Listening to Jeff talk about Warframe makes me realize that he definitely didn't spend enough time with Warframe. He talked about how they (Digital Extremes) don't do a good job of offering information for the differences between the guns and warframes and such...

...except they literally did those overhauls and put that information in many patches ago.

Listen, you don't have to be a Juggalo to view Juggalos as art. They live on a dangerous edge that separates life as reality and life as one big Faygo-branded Dark Carnival.

WOW, Gil Mantera's Party Dream shout-out? They're from my hometown. Very classic.

I watched this without clothes because I was doing laundry and now I'm listening to it without clothes by choice.

Looking forward to listening to this episode. I want to see if any of the emails chosen tops my year's funniest - the email calling Dan a "tasteless cretin".

People Can Fly having to make Gears Judgement is just sad. I really wanted BulletStorm 2. The first one was a good start to an FPS Ratchet and Clank-esque franchise.

@rorie continues to talk out of his ass. FiveThirtyEight's winner for America's Best Burrito was La Taqueria's Carnitas Burrito (SF). http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/americas-best-burrito/

Also, the of the "Best of OC" winners in the OC Register are popularity contests voted on by readers, so of course Chipotle won because most people are fucking stupid. There are tons of amazing Mexican restaurants in OC just like in SF, particularly because we are much closer to the border. The best burrito in OC is likely from a place barely anybody visits, but it sure as hell isn't Chipotle.

@pokysharpy:

I Feel like Rorie consistently talks out of his ass about more or less everything, but he always follow it up in a way that tries to be like "hey disclaimer! idk what I'm fucking talking about maybe I'm wrong!" But I feel like at that point he just shouldn't have said it in the first place.

Yep. I love the guy but damn he spits misremembered snippets as "facts" so often.

Thank you for reading my email!! Appreciate the Dragon Age discussion. This year was such an insane year for sales I basically have all the games I want to play, and that one is just at the bottom of my stack due to a lack of personal affinity towards strategic-combat rpgs.

@amyggen: and what a great podcast that was!

On the "best bugs" discussion where Myth 2 came up - Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and Freedom: First Resistance had some similar bugs.

If I recall correctly, VtMR had a bug where it could damage the hard drive's file system when saving, and Freedom could randomly set the refresh rate to something ludicrously high, potentially damaging the monitor.

Oh, and the PS2 version of Deus Ex had a funny bug that would make the game exit to the main menu when you tried to save (without saving). If you didn't save every few minutes you could lose a lot of progress when that happened.
