Child of Light has some of the same problems Okami does. Looks fantastic if you're into that aesthetic and is definitely not a game that shows up every other week. But both of those games provide little to no difficulty unless you go out of your way (Okami) or knowingly choose hard from the outset (Child of Light). I suppose that could be good or bad depending on what you're looking for. It's a pretty chill game, which I enjoyed after playing Faster Than Light:AE the past few weeks or so.

All the rhyming reminded me of Gruntilda from Banjo-Kaoozie. They should have a rhyme off.

I love Child of Light BECAUSE of the combat and its timeline. I started it at Hard difficulty and I think it is just fine. I lose sometimes and every battle is a challenge. I agree with the Skill trees, they are a bit of a mess. I am near the end I think, and I really enjoyed it so far.

Weird how Patrick talks about Hitman Go without ever really talking about what the gameplay is like. I wonder if that's on purpose.

The combat system talk regarding Child of Light between various places is night and day. Most of the GB dudes says it's a super easy cake walk, while others such as Polygon's Arthur Gies made it sound super tricky and annoying on Rebel FM.
