Oh God, Brad's outburst at Ryan accusing Mordin of being "like a Nazi" is pretty up there for Favorite Bombcast Moments.

Posted by damswedon

Wow Brad really didn't want Francis York Morgan to get through.

Aw yeah, Christmas remix back in effect.

Surprise, surprise! Idiot who rushed his way through the game not paying attention doesn't find the characters developed.

They picked Mordin on the podcast, but the article says Bayonetta is the best new character.  Make up your minds, guys!

Posted by RedSox8933

Jesus, an hour and a half? You guys really one-upped yourselves from last year.

Man, Jeff is wildly misinformed when it comes to Red Dead Redemption. Feel like that's going to ge snubbed in a lot of categories because of that. I mean, Marston one step above a silent protagonist? Uh....

Edited by Slaker117

I'm glad to see Deadly Premonition get some serious consideration.

Wait. How did Mordin win here, but Bayonetta won in the news feature?

Posted by MarioBoza

Oh man so excited for the rest of the week now. :D

Posted by MistaSparkle

I love the tension around GOTY awards XD

Posted by A_Cute_Squirtle

Brad came off sort of dickish in this Podcast. Still love you!

A silent protagonist would be a lot better than Marston.  He was almost as much of a hypocritical, holier than thou asshole as Luis from The Ballad of Gay Tony. "
Wasn't talking about better or worse. The fact is he's far from a silent protagonist. The statement just showed how little Jeff played of the game.

Thanks for your opinion, though.

weird that Mordin won in the cast but Bayonetta won in the write up
confusion?

Posted by shamanick

I love Jeff but seriously fuck him for his RDR hate.  So unnecessary.

Best new character category gave me a gastric ulcer. John Marston's character arc was sold short, way short. You don't do him justice if you reduce him to his dead pan reactions. That's only one aspect of his interaction with NPCs and the events he comments on. He's an unbelievably rich character who's animation alone (body language) sometimes speaks volumes. He's NOT a stand-in for the audience but a very defined and amazingly written character through which you experience the story.

I like Bayonetta's design and the madhouse that is her world but as far as personality goes she doesn't hold a candle to John Marston.

Oh, almost forgot: imho

That is a very good question.

I very much enjoyed Bayonetta but I wasn't really impressed with the character of Bayonetta. She functions well in her crazy world but removed from that there doesn't seem to be much to her. Shows what I know.
